Living and Bustling—Watari’s Tori no Umi Hot Spring Reopen!
In Miyagi’s Watari which was devastated by the 2011 disaster, Watari Onsen (hot spring) Tori no Umi has restarted hot spring service for day trippers.
Tori no Umi which literally means “Sea of Birds” has been loved by locals as one of a few hot spring facilities in the town.
Town people have longed for their reopen.
Three and a half years after the Great East Japan Earthquake, to bring back living and bustling to Watari, Tori no Umi are going to take a new step forward.
