Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration for Sendai’s Future: MEMS

Sendai has earned a name for itself in the world of semiconductor technology.
Now it has become Japan’s leading center for research and development in the micro-nano field.
Recently the city hosted the Sendai Micro-Nano International Forum 2013 two-day event.
One aim of the event was to encourage exchange of technical expertise among enterprises and Tohoku University’s labs in Sendai.
As more come together and collaborate, new products are developed and industry grows.
