Touhoku's recovery schedule is a website created to send the message that Touhoku is great, to Japan and the rest of the world.We want to add the story of Touhoku's recovery to Tohoku's recovery calendar, and by doing so, we want to show our support to people who are moving forward, and for「what's next」for Touhoku.

Shipping Out Gifts in Return for Donations

On July 8th, the first shipping of the gifts for those who donated to “Rikuzentakata Ganbappesi Support Funds” took place at Dream Village. They shipped the gifts all over Japan.

Mayor Toba remarked, “now ‘Hometown Tax” has com into effect. Let us work together to build a community!”

Hometown Tax came into effect on July 1st. There were 323 applications within a week.

Volunteers from “Asunaro Home” in Rikuzentakata city  and “Snail” in Oohunato city worked on packing of the gifts with appreciation.

All the packaged gifts were put in a truck by hands.  They saw them off with big smile and waving hands.
